this summer i had the opportunity of assisting on a shoot with my boss, darcie adler for Neiman Marcus' The Book for their christmas issue. we shot at the biltmore hotel downtown and darcie had these oversized props made, my favorite...the big stamp :) i was able to be on set with the talented liz von hoene who shot the project and it was a great experience being able to work first hand with the talented group of artists here in atlanta//

day four of being snowed in and thinking it will be the last. the sun finally came out today and although the ground was complete ice i survived the walk to starbucks with my mom and neighbor and finally got out of the house. but i am very thankful for this relaxing week. so, today i was thinking a lot about warm weather and how i missed it, so i decided to mix one of my favorite summer blouses into a winter outfit. just add a warm scarf, cute coat and some boots and you can mix and match different seasons together for a new kind of look.

although i feel like i resemble mk olsen-ozzy osbourne in my round frames//

so my snow day has turned into a snow week. a cold, icy, snowed-in, can't leave the house week. at first it was really relaxing and fun playing in the snow, but now we are going on day 3 and the roads are so icy we can't even get out of out driveway. so to entertain myself i have watched close to ten movies, caught up on all my blog reading, applied for jobs, random dance parties with my little sister, sleeping and eating...a lot and yesterday i walked to the grocery store with my mom to find tons of people who had walked miles and some who had braved the roads in their four wheel drive suv's. i was so surprised to see so many of the shelves empty...you would think the world was ending. so today in all my boredom i finally started on one of my new year resolutions, take more outfit posts! and i thought i would include some photos of my grocery store adventure yesterday...
