i am obsessed with accessories and i believe that adding a piece of statement jewelry, a stand-out bag or a great pair of shoes can transform an outfit into something with a totally new feel. but accessories are not always just for wear...how people store their accessories can also be a piece of art to decorate a room. one of my favorite websites, theselby.com, has a gallery of excellent photographs that give a sneak peak into the homes of designers, artists, journalists and many more.

just purchased this $12 sequin headband from free people. i love the elastic headband that i can wrap around my forehead to emphasize my hippie-ness. and bonus points cause this one has sequins.

lauren conrad is sporting a new hair 'do with bangs! i may be biased but i love me some bangs and i am also really wanting some of her nerd shades...

me and my little sister trying on some nerd shades at nordstrom...maybe once i move to nyc i will have to invest in a pair. alabama may not know how to handle them...
